  • Identify the role of fibre technology in access networks and state the capabilities of the optical systems deployed
  • List the main technologies which are being used to deliver digital television and contrast the features of these systems
  • Identify the architecture required to deliver IPTV and describe example IPTV services

A basic understanding of radio systems and data networks would be an advantage but not essential.
