The DRM briefing aims to give attendees a broad understanding of Digital Rights Management in the mobile sector from a standards perspective.While there are many competing DRM solutions; the Open Mobile Alliance DRM is the only truly standardized DRM. By attending this workshop you can expect to discover the current market status of OMA DRM and learn more about the challenges the DRM industry faces.
The workshop will also have a strong technical focus exploring the implementation details of OMA DRM and the forthcoming OMA SRM standard. This will include a walkthrough of the architecture, features and protocols provided by OMA DRM; as well as exploring the implementation of DRM into existing handsets and content services.Within all the topics presented we will explore how the SIM card can be used within the DRM system to increase security, user experience and subscriber loyalty.
