Workshop Leader
As one of the founders of Redbox, A run's vision is to implement emerging telecoms and media strategies, a market underserved by "generalist" consultancies. His insights stem for a 15 year career in telecoms and media, starting from his days as a qualified chartered accountant in the London office of Price Waterhouse’s Media division. From there, Arun held key roles within BSkyB, leading the Cable Operating Control and Marketing Analysis functions. He then held further operational roles within Orange, becoming the Head of Revenue and Pricing and Head of Controlling for Orange Switzerland. Arun joined a well recognised Boston based telecoms strategy consultancy in 2000, where he managed several major blue chip engagements, before forming Redbox Consulting.
At Redbox, Arun leads global research, strategic, implementation projects and has held interim management positions, such as COO for a media client. Significant client engagements Arun has managed include BT (UK), Orange (global), Telenet (Belgium), ONO (Spain), Glocell (South Africa), Emivest (Dubai), O2 (UK), Vodafone (Ireland), Ministry of Sound (UK), Disney (USA) and Earthlink (USA). Arun is a well respected industry expert and innovator, being a regular speaker at key industry events. He has developed a framework to create and implement innovative tariffs and propositions for telecoms and media companies. In addition to his Chartered Accountancy qualification, Arun has an honours degree in Economics from Kent University
