Mobile TV World Summit is back for 2009!
Revenues from mobile TV services will generate $1.5 billion in revenues in 2008, rising to over $10 billion in 2012, says a new report from Informa Telecoms & Media, Mobile TV: Strategies, Business Models & Technologies - 4th Edition. 2009 is tipped as the year for rapid growth in European markets. As mobile, broadcast and web players move closer towards a converged multimedia landscape, divergent views about how best to convert investment into profit can be heard across the sector. Broadcast free-to-air and pay TV services are being rolled out as spectrum is released, and operators are stepping up their cellular TV strategies, with mobile advertising still hotly anticipated as the big revenue-earner.
Is this really the time to rest on your mobile TV laurels?
Taking place at Olympia, London, on 25 and 26 March 2009, and colocated with IPTV World Forum, Mobile TV World Summit features keynote speakers from major operators giving a global overview of working case studies in successful and promising markets. Creatives, media planners and buyers and broadcasters will come together in a special focus on mobile advertising innovation and strategy. Content specialists and web players will debate what content at what price will squeeze profit from their consumers through mobile delivery. Seamless delivery, minimised ‘hassle-factor’ and leveraging handheld with interactivity will be closely addressed. For the first time, delegates will hear IPTV Keynotes open both conference days, and get a richer picture of where the converged multimedia landscape is headed.
Mobile TV World Summit 2009 will equip you with the knowledge and the contacts to ensure you don’t miss out on your share of the revenue.
