Telefonica combines Web 2.0 and IMS with "WIMS 2.0"
WIMS 2.0 is the new industry framework promoted by Telefonica seeking convergence between Web 2.0 and the telecom new generation services based on IMS.

Vodafone Ireland picks Ericsson for IMS systems
Ericsson has been selected by Vodafone Ireland to provide real-time charging and IMS solutions, including the upgrade and expansion of its existing network.
Under the terms of the deal, Ericsson will also be responsible for systems integration of existing solutions into the next-generation IMS environment, as well as the upgrade expansion of network capacity, enabling real-time charging.
