Senior Analyst/Researcher

Lucy's main focus area is the development of fixed broadband in Europe. She contributes regular country and company profiles, which cover market developments and trends, subscriber data and operator strategies. In addition Lucy is overseeing an FTTx database covering fibre deployments around the world. She has also contributed to three Future Broadband Market reports.

Lucy has focused on developments within the broadband sector for the past five years and has been writing about the telecoms sector since 1997.

Julian is the Principal Analyst in Informa Telecoms & Media’s data research team. Julian has researched the wireless and fixed line industries for 16 years. In addition to an extensive history with Informa he has, as a free-lance consultant, undertaken projects with Point Topic and Ovum and enjoyed a spell as Head of Research at Kable Ltd. Julian holds a degree in Literae Humaniores from Oxford University and management qualifications from the Open University and the University of Humberside. He has spoken and chaired at numerous industry and client events including the 3GSM World Congress and ITU Telecoms. He enjoys fine wine and kite-surfing.
