Monday 25th September 2006 | Led by: Leo Nikkari,
Executive Chair, MobileIGNITE & Alan
Hadden, President, GSA
MobileIGNITE will be leading a workshop on fixed-mobile convergence and
how the launch of services can be accelerated through interoperability.

Closing Remarks
Questions covered will include:
- Will SIP successfully migrate from the Internet to Telecom?
- If so what deficiencies and outstanding issues still exist? How has 3GPP extended SIP?
- Are SIP Servlets the most appropriate service creation technology for IMS?
- Do other open standards based technologies have a role?
- If so, what are they and when should they be used?
- How are IMS and SDP related? If so, what are they and when should they be used?
- Will they converge in the future?
- How will this effect the organisational structure of telecom operators?
